Clini Duo40 is an ideal alternative to the multi-layer bandage system and is particularly suitable for self-caring patients.
Each treatment kit contains:
2 x Clini Duo40 white liners and 1 x Clini Duo40 compression stocking
Each liner pack contains:
3 x Clini Duo40 white liners
The combined mean average of 1 x liner (10mmHg) and 1 x compression stocking (30mmHg) is 40mmHg
Fully complies with BS6612: 1985 graduated compression hosiery
A size indicator can be found by a coloured thread in the stocking
Indications for use
- Compression of limbs with venous disorders and the control and reduction of oedema and lymphoedema
- Treatment of venous leg ulcers
- Prevention of recurrence of venous leg ulcers and severe varicose veins
- Ideally suitable for patients who prefer not to use compression bandages e.g. cosmetic preferences in younger patients
- Latex-free product
Contra-Indications
- This system may be unsuitable where there is heavy exudate or for large wounds
- For large and irregular-shaped limbs it may be more appropriate to use compression bandages
- Padding and bandages are recommended for patients with very small limbs or with bony prominences
- Lymphoedematous limbs should be treated with short stretch bandages
- People with diabetes following specialist referral and under strict supervision
- Significant arterial disease (ischaemia) according to vascular assessment ABPI of < 0.8 unless after specialist referral and under strict supervision and regular follow up
- Congestive cardiac failure as compression could lead to cardiac overload
- Known sensitivity to the fabric of the liner or stocking
